June 15, 2007 - Cagley Harman & Associates Expands, Changes Name to The Harman Group
KING OF PRUSSIA, Pennsylvania (June 15, 2007) – Cagley Harman & Associates, a structural engineering and parking consulting firm with offices in the Philadelphia suburbs, Pittsburgh and Las Vegas, announced today that they will now be known as The Harman Group. This new name reflects the retirement of founding partner Jim Cagley in 2004, the consolidation of the King of Prussia, PA headquarters of Cagley Harman & Associates with the Pittsburgh office of Cagley Harman & Campbell, and the addition this summer of an office in Las Vegas. Although retired, Mr. Cagley remains as a consultant for the firm; Timothy Campbell, P.E., will continue to manage the Pittsburgh office. Christopher Conn, P.E., an Associate with the firm, will be relocating to manage the Las Vegas office.
Regarding the benefits of the name and structural change, Kirk Harman, President of The Harman Group, commented, “The combined resources of all three offices are available to any project undertaken by the firm, while allowing us to consolidate overhead functions for more efficiency.” The new Las Vegas office is scheduled to be officially open for business in August 2007.
