Master Plan includes preliminary design for the Diagnostic Wing/West Infill, West Tower Addition, South Infill, South Tower Platform and program/traffic modifications in the Wood Building.

Phase I of this project is the 10-story, 332,000 sq. ft. South Patient Tower and interior renovations to 35,000 gross sq. ft. of the existing space. The structure includes vertical expansions and complicated connections to existing buildings, complex transfer trusses, suspended floors, and reconfiguration and expansion to an existing below-grade parking structure as well as seismic upgrades to portions of the existing building.

Phase II consists of two buildings, the nine-story Southwest Tower and the 12-story Northwest Tower, totaling 460,000 sq. ft. Both feature complex transfer trusses, suspended floors, and complicated connections to the existing structure. The Northwest Tower has seven floors suspended from trusses above. Phase II also includes seismic upgrades to the existing structure and relocation of the helipads.

Winner of Outstanding Project Award, Delaware Valley Association of Structural Engineers (DVASE), 2008.
